Oi you lay off will you, we got Greeg's Sausage rolls what more do you want? you can even get the frozen in Iceland stores, mind you I get my fix on a Friday at Tesco wiv er in doors, failing that Bib Breakfast at Sainsburys' nice 2 banger 2 rashers 2 eggs a tomato and a hash brown wiv sum toast, lovely jubbly as Del would say. Having home made chips, eggs bacon and beans for tea today, eat your heart out boys and girls.

Tomato sauce or reggae reggae on square sausage! Proper Scottish steak Lorne sausage!
bacon needs no sauce.
Scotch pies...a little tomato sauce. And if you want my recipe for Scotch pies, I will show you!

Bog roll must be hung with the paper hanging out into the room...in my good ship, if you hang it so the loose end lies next to the wall, it will get wet as the ship heels...
also, if you have a finger accident, you pluck the paper from thin air, not smear the wall...

And if you can't find a good sausage abroad then use sobrasada with honey and pour it onto toast, for your breakfast...after the first course of smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and cava...

And if you don't know how to make proper scrambled eggs, I will tell you that too...

I see some recipes calling for "left-over wine"...wtf is that???
That last sentence deserves a WINNER notification.

I'm noticing a lot of spelling errors since the new forum started. Is that just coincidence, or did the old forum pick up the typos.

All this talk of pies reminds me of a little Scottish joke.... but I don't know how well it will translate into typed words.

"
Eh'll hae twae pehs, a plean ane, an a inging ane anna!"

Told you. But in English, that means:

"I will have two pies. A plain one, and an onion one as well"

No' bad li'll spark, by the way!
g'eez twa pies, wan plain, 'n' wan wi' unyin...

Dos empanadas, por favor...una natural, y una con cebolla...

Oh, I am getting out more...tomorrow I am going to the beach...they tell me I might even get my chains off for a while!

I can just imagine you in your van with a flask and a china teacup and saucer....... sheeeeesh

Just like Mr Bull in Peppa Pig

Strange, I don't drink tea or coffee and diet Vimto wouldn't be right in a cup.

I'm a black current man myself but I do like a Vimto every now and then.

Full fat red coca cola for me. Not diet, not Coke Zero...full fat full sugar full fizzy.
Not Pepsi either. I don’t care if tesco own make is a tenth of the price.

Get a 10 can pack at a time... sits on the shelving in the back of the van, within easy reach of drivers seat.

I remember those days well until my pancreas decided enough was enough and packed in. Now it's sugar free or large quantities of insulin :(
