Hi,

I’ve been trying to retrofit AC to my Mercedes sprinter motorhome, I have most of the kit but some of the wiring is missing.
I have managed to find a decent wiring diagram for the entire van but having trouble with this section.

I know the symbols (ringed in blue) are called “choice bracket” but haven’t a clue what they actually are? I assumed at first they was just a join point where 2 wires are connected to the same plug? but if this is true then the circuit I’ve highlighted would just stay energised once it’s powered up?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi,have you investigated the requirements of fitting this to your particular model? Sometimes,a clued up technician,at a friendly dealer, would assist,or a model specific forum.

There are going to be other mods required, besides fitting a compressor, and some wiring. It could be hardware, loom additions, etc,or ECU configuring,to adjust idle speed, when the compressor loads up,or merely not to see it's addition,as a fault.

Are you fitting the heaterbox/rads,etc?
