Possible job coming up where customer wants wall lights in a fully tiled bathroom. Backs onto cloakroom, so they dont mind cable routed through partition on cloakroom side.

Bathroom switch is regular wall mounted 1 gang 1 way for ceiling fitting. (neutral in back box) but too far away from the wall in question to wire direct to it. (although i will give it a good attempt with some fancy drilling somehow)

Cloakroom switch is on the reverse side of the tiled wall. Thought about taking a feed from switch to to the lights and installing a remote control relay somewhere or smart bulbs.

If i go with option 2, I would need to change the bathroom switch to a 2 gang, but one gang being a transmitter for the relay, the other wired as normal.

neutrals at both switches, so powered transmitter possible.

Cheers, collective font of knowledge.

Ok. Good that they fit a normal grid.

are these on/off switches or momentary?

Qinetic wireless switches. No connection to the wiring. Works in conjunction with a receiver unit connected to the light. Retractive switch. Push on, push off.

Again quinetic. Can look like several brands
