I have a rock slab saw that needs rewiring. The saw's has a 1.5 hp motor as the power source for turning the blade, and I need to add a small 4 RPM motor to run the power feed with a 2 wire toggle switch to control it. It needs to be wired so the saw's main on/off switch turns on both the saw and the power feed, but with the toggle switch to shut off the power feed, enabling the saw to run whether the power feed is running or not. The saw's main on/off already gives power to the motor, but I need to add the 2 wire power feed motor and the 2 wire toggle switch to control it. I'm hoping someone can show me how to connect the 2-wire motor and the 2-wire toggle switch to the saw's main 1.5 hp motor...? But at this point, I feel like what I am trying to explain just sounds like blah blah blah!! Please see attached diagram and help!! Please! Thank you!!
