Am working at a local school installing CCTV system. The headmaster collars me today and asks me whether I can automate the bell ringing system and puts in my hand a leaflet on the Danfoss 841.

I had a quick look at the current system, which is a single push button in the school hall that rings 5 x 240V bells in the corridors. The 841 does not have the ability of pulsed output but the 842 is 2 channel, but has the ability of pulsed output.

Am I correct that for bells, you require a pulsed output???

Anyone point me in the direction of a cheap supplier for these.

Thanks in anticipation.

The 841 also pulses.
Continuous bells usually means Fire. For Class change suggest pulsing.
Can't help with supplier as I'm not a local!

Thanks Jaresquire. Just downloaded spec sheet on this to see 841 does pulsing. I had been reading it on CPC site without full description. And actually, they are the most competitive on price at £177 + Vat.

Regards

Dave
