The oven cooling fan in a Smeg A4-5 cooker needs attention/replacement – the bearings are noisy.
Does anyone know whether the whole cooker has to be removed to access the fan?
Also, I know the fan is a left-hand motor. Does anyone know its length?
Thanks for any thoughts.

Looking at the parts list here the fan motor mounts on a plate that would suggest it is accessable from the front of the cooker

Yes, I fear that may well be the case. With its weight and a current back problem, I don't think I'll be taking this on anytime soon!
