Socket box cutters

Hi all, i was thinking about investing in an sds socket box cutter. Do any of you out there rate them as any good? I have conflicting opinions from people i talk to.

hiya yorkshiresparky, I havnt actually used one. I reakon if you buy a decent make of one they'll be of good use. But theres alot on the market which are real kak. It depends if you like the hammer and chissell, like me hehe. Am sure someone will have sumit to say about them.

i am aslo thinking about buying a sinker, just wondering if you had bought one yet, if so what is it like.

Haven't invested yet as i don't do a great deal of house bashing, but i'll keep you informed.

In soft brick / breeze blocks they are great.. but when the going gets tough then an sds chisel is quicker.
