I have a 240v spa pump that won't run. No buzz, no hum, not a peep out of it. I removed the pump and disconnected the wires from it, leaving the cable plugged into the spa pack. When turned on I get the following voltages: (measured at the loose wires I disconnected from the pump)
black to ground - 120v
white to ground - 120v
White to black - 240v
Anyway I ended up replacing the pump but the new one won't run either. Took the same measurements and got the same readings.
I'm beyond mystified by this one. If anyone has an idea I would appreciate it.
Thx
