Should I be worried?

Ordered and paid for a Megger 1720 on Wednesday. Order confirmation received from Test-meter.co.uk, but goods have not yet arrived. Website clearly advertises item 'IN STOCK' and I had assumed (perhaps over eagerly) that I would receive next day delivery. I have emailed to ask for an update on the order, but these have been ignored.

I chose to purchase from them due to their forum advertising/sponsorship and I am starting to regret this decision.

Can anyone on here help to resolve this issue.

Thanks

Did it not show an expected delivery date?
2 to 3 days maybe?

test-meter are a well respected company. they may well have dispatched your order, but relying on either royal mail or carriers to deliver on time is another story.

Shouldn't worry test meter are well respected. Anything I have ordered has always got to me. I doubt they are ignoring you probably emails are not monitored over the weekend.

I think mine came within a week...I wouldn't worry! Just remember bank holiday Monday coming up too :/

I ordered my 1730 from them and i can assure you they are a good company. It did not come next day but it was within a week. I would not worry

Wouldnt worry, any fourm posts ive even seen from testmeter seem very reliable + its bank holiday weekend so anything is likley to take longer in the post.

I've been wondering why I had a Megger 1720 delivered on Friday that I hadn't ordered!

I will swap you for my 61557 metrel.. Bag is knackered, Leads are missing the finger guards, the up button often does down and the insulation tape rounds the battery cover does need replacing regularly as the cover is knackered.

Hi guys,

Just read the above posts. Just to let you know that all e-mails should be replied to within a few hours unless sent out of working hours. In this case the e-mail was received on Friday evening and as we shut over weekends and Bank Holidays the e-mail wasn't picked up and replied before Tuesday morning. We as much as anyone love the weekend, and extended ones are even better, so we tend to not check work e-mails during weekends.
Normally delivery time tends to be 1-2 working days for products that are in stock, but this can vary all depending on availability. In this case the delivery time was 4 working days excluding the Bank Holiday which was due to us awaiting new stock.
If delivery dates are ever an issue or delivery is required within a certain time frame, please call us to ensure that this can be achieved. We will always be honest and realistic, even if this means not getting the order.

Thanks for reading..
