Storage heaters

Got a question regarding storage heaters and economy 7. Customer wants 7x storage heaters (Elnur Ecombi High Retention) installed in a HMO. Each room has its own 4 way consumer unit per room (basically small studio flats) the only thing is the storage heaters require a 24hour supply and economy 7 supply but only has one neutral terminal. Im going to get the customer to have their providers install an economy 7 switch in each of the flats but its got me thinking... the new economy 7 rcd consumer unit I install with will surely have issues with shared neutrals from the 24hour supply seeing as there is just one terminal or am I going crazy?

why dont you put in panel heaters instead .with out faffing about putting in E7.

The customer has requested those exact ones, something to do with getting the property a better energy rating....

Yeah exactly that! It wouldn’t be confusing me if the heaters had two neutral terminals, just worried that the rcd wont like it

considering they are sub meters in the flats your customer needs to ring the suppliers to see if it could be done.

The wiring diagram shows separate neutrals for each supply. You should be ok but phone the technical department if you're in doubt.

Where is the dislike button as i would like to press it on all buzz responses. Storage heaters are one of the cheaper ways of electrically heating a living space, the landlord is offering a cheaper way of heating the studios to tennants at a greater expense to his/herself. Often landlords now get advised to put in high efficiency storage heaters after an epc on the property.
With regard to the neutral terminal i have only ever seen separate terminals within the heaters.
