Summer suitable workwear?

So I've been sweating like a pig in people's houses these past few days and it's made me wonder, what do other electrician's wear in this heat??

Are there any breathable polo shirts available for the stickier days?

Rather than work trousers I wear cargo shorts - the convenience of all the pockets but a reduced temperature.
I'm tempted to try those 'pirate shorts' which come with knee-pads - the ones I use were £8 from Primani; obviously they don't have knee pad pockets so you have to either be careful or use "strap-ons".

Work shorts and t-shirt.
Thinking about it, there are some pretty high tech "wicking" T-shirts available from outdoor activity shops, used by serious walkers. I've got one somewhere, so I'd better see if I can find it.

I wear a wick away running t-shirt under my polo. turn up looking semi smart and take the polo off when working and on again when I leave or go for parts, way too hot in lofts at the moment!!

I wear polo shirt and TMG bermuda shorts

make sure that what you wearing is cotton. the more polyester in there the more you gonna sweat.

t shirt and cut off denim trousers for me. (£5 in local charity shop )

the trousers are canvas, it's hot sometimes with them but still it's shorts
