Switching via PC or mobile

Hi people,
I have a client with a house in london and a place in the country. He wants to be able to switch on the hot water in the country pile from his place or office in london via a pc or smart phone so that he has HW on arrival. Currently the hot water is on a single channel programmer,so all I need really is a SP switching device that I can connect across the programmer terminals. I've looked at some of the systems available for home control via the internet but they all seem to be systems offering control of all the house,lights,heating and everything and way more complex than what I need. Any suggestions?....there is a local router in the cellar with the programmer so thats not an issue.

Take a look at the Salus IT 500 - you can control the heating and water as long as there is broadband in the house.

I've recently installed this in my home and it does what it says it can do, plus its almost idiot proof when set up.

Hi use a rako controller with a gsm unit or if the house has broadband can use a rako RAV232 to talk to controller. I believe there is a purpose made product designed for the job from memory it was about £230 but can't remember the company.
