Working today with a friend and i used this cheap Heatgun .Shrinking onto tails . NO juice in property at time .WOW ! amazing machines for the money. Can see myself buying one . The SWA shrink shrunk nice and tight and no damage from too much heat etc

I have a dewalt battery heat gun and it is great for just that sort of thing.

worth a try.
hope it works ok for you.
at £35 it is only the cost of a decent round of beers!!

I have pondered upon buying the Milwaukee M18BHG-0 M18 Heat Gun to match my couple of real power tools, but so far not quite seen the justification for it as usually I have mains to hand. Still on my to-get list!

I generally shun off-brand power tools, but tried a cheap heat gun due to the vast price difference. It was brilliant right up until it wasn't. it just stopped working - no noise or smoke, just doing its job and then nothing. Since stumped up for the genuine article and I have to say it's better by a significant degree. Faster heating, better control of heat and warranty should it go the way of its predecessor.
