I was thinking about getting qualified to do this for a charity. I already do the necessary stuff to put the electrical donations into the shop floor. They are charged too much for this service under contract.
I need insurance, certificate, kit, cards..and I will be funding it.
I've had a look round for jobs to offset the setup costs. They are very limited.
From an end user point of view, is a C&G 2377 the preferred qualification? I've done an online course but it seemed an exercise in selling product. I need to do it properly.

I am going to live in Ireland eventually and would have liked to transfer the skill. But HSE don't require PAT testing: it's guidance only over there.

So I would like experienced thoughts on this.
Many thanks yous.
