The moon and Venus - last evening.

Anyone notice? Not the best photo but quite a spectacular sight.

Noticed it driving back last night, should be able to see Saturn later this month.
Hard to believe that is over 60 million miles away at the moment.

My daughter and I saw it last night briefly before it clouded over, much the same pic as above!
Makes you think how insignificant we all are in the grandness of the galaxy!

Saturn was very bright the other night quite surprised living in the smoke and all the light pollution. Saw Venus as well and that was also very bright as per OP picture.

These are awesome!

I saw it and didn't think to try zoom in on Samsung galaxy that has a moon feature where it stabilises on the moon to get a full screen image on the galaxy ultra (the big one).

Not sure what it would have done on those mind.
