Thinking of amusing the meter reader doing the safety checks

Hi,
I have the meter reader coming soon to do the two yearly safety check. The meter is in a dark walking under stairs cupboard. I am thinking of leaving my large camera flashes in there on a radio trigger and wait until he starts touching and then trigger the flashes.

What does the crowd think?

If you flash him while hes got his bits out it might be construed as a premeditated act on your part.....with the resulting consequences !

Edit:- You could always leave him something like this on the floor under the meter and say some Polish chap fix a problem for you a short while back!!!

I'm not sure the flash idea will end well TBH. Depends on how much a sense of humour he has and if he doesn't have one you'll be finding out the hard way and you might shortly be in the market for an 18kW off-grid PV system .

What about a fist full of C4 with a wireless detonator ? He won't want to visit again....probably unable to visit anywhere else either..........

Do you honestly think that this chap stuffed under the stairs while fiddling around with live terminations is going to laugh when you make him jump out of skin ?

I wouldn't dare do it anyone live working that would be plain STUPID! I wasn't going to carry anything out, it was just a joke in the spirit of the arms.
