Hello every one had a call from thompsons local the other day offering a large advert and top of their online search for £35 a month, they suggested that they got my details from Elecsa and that they are are going reduced rates to all Elecsa registered contractors.
Any one else get the same phone call? Any one had experience with advertising with them, did it result in much if any work?

Got a steady work flow at the mo all through word of mouth and recommendation but at the same time who knows when that'll dry up...

I am with Elecsa and did not get this call, so this does make me feel it is probably only a few that have been called, if they were to call everyone and offer top spot....Hmm.

I would check if at all possible that they are from the Thomson Local you expect, just in case there is another one that these people happen to be (me being cynical).

If this is a genuine offer to advertise, then check their website for the regular pricing in case it is cheaper!
Then if this is all OK and you still wish to advertise with them then consider the number of responses you would need to justify £35 per month outlay (£420 per year) and ensure you are not being locked into a five year contract.

Then after all that from a suspicious old fool, go right ahead, could be a good earner!
