a bag containing a parachute as well as my tools would be my choice.

I used to do a lot of work in the Channel Islands, always used the ck bag as above pad locking the Zips.

I bought a veto MC bag recently for the same purpose it's quite small but mostly I'm carrying small handtools and meters but it carries everything I need approx 45 items parts like ferrules etc I keep in a few zip bags and carry in luggage , I'd say it's going to last longer than the ck but at £89 I'd expect it to!

I did look at the cases and peli boxes , they're certainly the toughest option butit's all down to how much weight you can take these cases can weigh around 5kg

Wheels would be nice but not at 90 quid :( I don't mind the shoulder strap on the CK case, as long as you don't overpack it it's comfy to carry for a good distance. My blue CK case has lasted me maybe 3 years and it's seen dozens of overseas jobs in that time without any signs of deterioration. You learn very quickly when you travel to make your tool kit lean and mean, I even get my laptop, a couple of pairs of clean underwear and my toothbrush etc in the center section as well. As mentioned above you can just padlock the zips to keep it at least somewhat secure but I guarantee you you'll be unpacking it in front of the security every time it goes through an x-ray machine.

Looks nice and the wheels look lovely :). 208 quid though.....a bit rich for me, it's >5 times the price of my CK. I could only justify spending that much on a tool case if I was looking for a tax write-off.

Wow, that one looks the same as the one Sintra showed above except it's 80 quid more expensive.

I can't believe how much you guys pay for tool cases. I know it's worth paying extra for quality but I have to draw a line, I don't think my entire toolkit didn't cost that much.
