Hi, im interested in doing a course , iv been hearing bad things about other companies offering "fast track" courses. Has anyone done a course with Trade Qualified Ltd? i spoke to one advisor from the company and he never once tried to hard sell me the course, he said i should take my time in making a decision as its a big step.

Below is what they are offering for 5-6k, can anyone tell me if im getting my money's worth?

**Inspection Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations City & Guilds 2391-10
**The 17th Edition of the Institute of Electrical Engineers Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2382
**Electrical Portable Appliance Testing City & Guilds 2377

The17th Edition Regulations are a legal requirement from 1 July 2008. All students will sit this examination to comply with the new legislation.** The C&G 2391-10 has been updated from the C&G 2391-01 and will incorporate changes arising from the new 17th Edition Regulations. There were plans to rename the qualification to the 2392 but this will not now occur.

Many Thanks
John

Sewers1966 are you on the facebook page? I'd like to speak with you, if you inbox them on the Facebook page bringtradequalified2justice, it will get forwarded on and I can contact you directly. Of note, it seems one victim has an interview today with a BBC reporter.

Just avoided getting ripped off myself. Registration papers arrived yesterday and read your comments in time. I think they are now trading as 'Train a Trade'. Their cover letter had no contact details, no website etc... I will be reporting them to the Trading Standards. Thanks, you saved me £5k. I am looking to do a course but very reluctant to go via any other route then local colleges?

You can't report them for anything if they've set up again. Its legal.

Trade Qualified have set up as Certifi Training, haven't they? Yeah, it's legal. Doesn't mean they won't rip off hundreds of people, same old dodgy people in charge, willing to put hundreds of people out of pocket. Do your homework on your courses, there is no fast track. Go to college!
