The French Disconjoncteur de branchement do, if you go beyond your payed for tariff they trip out, the new Linkey meters are even more sensitive and have less head room that the previous Disconjoncteur.
Why does France mandate TT earthing?

It is probably because until recently most supplies were run overground, particularly in rural areas. Why does France mandate TT earthing?
So really more of an RCBO?
Realistically the SP+SN option for RCBO is more useful in terms of allowing N-E faults to be identified and circuit testing performed without much cable removal. but not very common outside of the Wylex/Crabtree ones in the UK it seems.
France is rather spread out with small villages miles apart, so it's more cost effective to run the power supplies overhead as phase and neutral and legislate that it's the occupiers responsibility to provide the earth, different in large towns, but even they are spread out.
Would you want a neutral to break on 3 phase?I've noticed that. Mainland EU always goes DP and SPSN... but the UK seems to have no concern. Do neutrals not break in the UK?
Would you want a neutral to break on 3 phase?
Sorry disconnected from what?
