It must be due to lack of work but i seem to be watching more n more of there property development programmes and Im amazed by the things I see done /not done electricaly

One of todays little gems was BBC homes Under the Hammer gas cooker with socketabout 100-150mm above it dead center nice flex down to back assume for ignotor

i was watching one a few months ago when one of the numptys said, he didn`t get an electrician in too save money so he rewired the place and changed the board himself but we got a gas guy in to commission the gas as were not allowed to do that. just shows what people stilll think

Phil I saw one that said 'we got a chippy in to do the skirting and archetraves cos it's important they're done right' and cut to a shot of the new owner FASTENING A LIGHTSWITCH. WITH A NON INSULATED SCREWDRIVER, IF YOU PLEASE! I think I made a post about it.

Just goes to prove what has been discussed here recently - plasterers and tilers get decent pay because they make things look pretty and we get paid arse all because people don't care about safety until such time as they can sue you over it.

thats why i like the commercial side to the pubs and clubs as they can see all those pretty lights shining and the affects. i must admit i have a sad satisfaction when i look at it afterwards.
