Nope nobody working for this firm is in a union
What does your firm think of TUs are they willing to negotiate, or work with TUs.
I was a Rep for Prospect the Union for Professionals, you could speak to Unite on the QT cos some firms although the can't sack you for being a TU Member, they could make your life difficult especially if you are the only one.
Does your firm pay JIB rates now. if yes I should think the JIB will circulate voting letters to members of your firm.

My firm are a jib company so will pay jib rates, just want a vote on the next deal,so want to be in correct union.I will contact unite

The rates of pay are agreed between Unite and the ECA. I've never had a vote on it.

I think the strike action a number of years ago was the only vote we as JIB graded Unite members got.
