The head lights would work as per normal. The light projected from them would be traveling at 2 x the speed of light if viewed at a stationary position. BTW the speed of light is not the fastest thing in the universe, its just the fastest thing that we have discovered so far. If a car was traveling at that speed and turned the headlights on, you would have just invented the fastest thing that we know of. Look at it this way, if you were stud on top of a train traveling at 100mph and threw a tennis ball in the same direction at 100mph the ball would be traveling at 100mph as from the train and 200mph if measured from the ground. If you threw the ball towards the rear of the train it would be traveling at 200mph away from you but it would be motionless from looking at it from the ground (gravity not taken into effect).Maybe you can answer this question that has puzzled me for ages:If you are in a space ship, travelling at the speed of light, and turn your head lights on......do they do you any good?????

Yes.the headlamp light will still travel at the speed of light relative to you
Dont do it though,I hear its an offence to shine your lights at the dark side of the moon,3 points and a caution, and its issued the day before you commit the offence by the rapid response police
