Discuss Weirdest, strangest, oddest things found........ in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Lets just say it made for a rather amusing conversation ;)
Well amusing for me anyways! I still give him jip about it haha.

P.S

Holy crap ive just become a senior! How the hell did that happen? Only been here a week!! LOL

Weirdest thing I've seen in someone's bedroom.....a toy stuffed rabbit wearing a tutu with a hole cut out between its legs.

:saddam:

Strangest thing I have found would probably be some baby sized clogs when ripping out a old stone fire place in a old welsh house.
I found out later that apparently it was tradition to bring good luck or something to bury your childs first shoes in the walls.
Not sure how old they were but they were pretty damn old LOL

Strangest thing I saw at work was a large 170A breaker with a 1.5mm cable connected to it that was not conected to anything.
Breaker was turned off.
Still to this day have no idea why it was like that or who the hell would do it....

Strangest thing I have found... (Well not me personally, my colleage found it but showed me.)
whilst working in a hotel which was build circa 1940-50 lifting floorboards etc. he came across what looked like metal beams to support the floor, not I beams real old thin ones. Where I live on an island there are no trains, except there used to be in the war time as it was the main naval base for GB, turns out this mental beams were old train tracks from way back them! The oddest thing was that they were set about the right distance apart making it look like a train used to go thought the 1st floor of the hotel thought the walls!!
Oooooooo ghost train! Haha

wish I took a picture now,
