I use the MI3000 and am so far really pleased with it. It costs a lot less than a megger and consequently you won't have the privilege of mistreating it without it giving up on you but nevertheless I think Metrel overall is progressing at a good pace considering just how bad their earlier examples were. Be sure to check out test-meter.co.uk and you'll even get 5% forum user discount. I've used them a few times and seem to be ok. Unfortunately I really can't say much about the MI3112 as I've no experience of it but can vouch for the MI3000. Hope this helps.

It doesn't look like the MI3112 does continuity?
The MI3000 has auto RCD.

ah yeah it doesnt say anything about continuity, well thats useless as a "multifunction" tester lol, does anyone know how to get this 5% discount need a code or somethin

I think you just click the test-meter.co.uk link at the top, or side of the page.
