Pros are i only see her on weekend so get to chill out with mates, relax and do what i want on week
Cons are gotta drive down there every other weekend 200 miles lol
Been there, seen it, done it, now got the kids and the mortgage to prove it... Enjoy it mate.. :)

Landrover Defender 110 for me, no electric gizmos to go wrong, very cheap for parts and literally everything can be replaced easily & cheaply. Plenty of room for tools & still have 5 seats

i had an estate before the van,was easier with the doors and the gear on the back seats, but the no back seat rule made me get the van,tho you can fit the bulk head behind the fronts seats on the estate so you get van space with the doors, but the down side is all the scum can see your gear..

Is there any product on the market which can be used to "tastefully" black-out rear windows on an estate?

The Renault Trafic gearbox breaking is because it hates not being in reverse.

(this comes from a more than happy Renault Trafic driver.....also got a 'P' reg Laguna thats caused me no probs the last 12 years the missus has been driving it)

My old dearly loved old age pensioner Laguna estate ( I hate vans) was mechanically perfect when I scrapped it
The immobiliser was the culprit,Renault has a bad name for its electrics,I now know why
The repair would have been worth more than the vehicle so it had to go

Toyota Hiace all day and every day, they just go on and on and on and on and on and on . had mine now for 4 years and even with 245k on the clock, she still returns 45mpg.
