Our home has a solar PV system, which includes a tesla powerwall "gateway", a main breaker, and a sub-panel breaker (the sub-panel has almost all circuits in it). I want to install a whole house surge protector. I know how to install it, but should I install it in the tesla gateway or the main breaker? A friend who also has a similar setup put his in the tesla gateway and he went with an Eaton CLNSURGE

If you were me, is this the whole house breaker you would get? My goal is to get a really good one.
Should I install it in the tesla gateway or the main breaker?

See the attached pics, also I included a circuit diagram we used for the permitting of the Solar PV.
