Hello there,

The job I'm on at the moment will be coming to an end shortly and the company won't have any work close to my home afterwards.

I quite like the idea of going to the Middle East but i can't see very many jobs, a few for hotel maintainence. Has anyone worked in this part of the world?

I also wouldn't mind working in the middle of nowhere on an oil rig etc. I'm willing to put in the hours if the money is right Again has anyone here done this?

For reference for 39 hours here I earn approx. €880 after tax, that's in a new pharma plant. Ideally to be going abroad I'd like to earn double that, is this attainable?

Thanks in advance
Pat

Lived and worked in many places .Its not all its cracked up to be !!! main issue is what happens when things go ---- up . Will the contract cover you for legal issues, medical issues etc . Its draining work in the heat . Walking in 40 degrees is one thing. working is something else . And get ready to see terrible treatment of labourer from 3rd world countries .They are treated terribly
