Appliance testing doldrums

Having spend a long weekend in Tenby, the big chief has kindly put me on light duties for a couple of weeks to help me recover. However having spend the day appliance testing, I have lost the will to live! What do you guys do to relief the sheer level of boredom while your doing it. Tried to get a Mexican wave going in that solicitors office but they were having none of it. Kill joys! lol

usually banter with the office ladies.......an Ipod dock turned down low inside the tester carry box/bag and going somewhere different every tea time to look forward to....

I would like to listen to some music, but I also like to sing along to it. Only problem is, I sound like a tortured cat. On a positive note. After a bit of banter with the ladies today, six of them did agree to do a Mexican wave for me. Not sure I will be able to do a couple of weeks of appliance testing though. It’s just sole destroying.

I spent less than two hours testing the equipment at my place and decided never to do it again!

After a fortnight of appliance testing and having seen some of the clients fridges and microwaves, I have come to the conclusion the danger is more likely to come from biological warfare than electrickery.

You should see the state of some of the student lets i test. cups and plates with their own ecosystems, floors and surfaces that you and your equipment stick to.
