    We just moved in, and it's thrown a few surprises this house boiler knackered, damp ( hoping it's down to failed felt in attic getting that fixed next week) you wouldn't think it looking at the house looks mint just at that age I guess.

    Ok cheers I spoke to someone on the phone he suggested a chock box using correct gauge cable I sent him a pic does that sound right he did say you should run the whole new cable, but that's obviously a lot more cost

    It's succes!! Found on another forum that someone posted it connects before the bulkhead into a connector then off to the bsi, I removed ecu in engine bay near bulkhead and there it was not even plugged in! I can only think previous owner as work done and it wasn't connected back up!ive only...

    Good idea that will show at least that the switch is ok, same with continuity test. any tips on testing the earths are good?
