    230v on neutral and line to earth at light fitting?

    This is with the lamp & fitting removed and the reading is taken from the chocblock connector at the fitting.     Which do you prefer? I must admit I like to sit on the side of safety so would feel better knowing I had a 12 Volt light setup but what do others think? I mean the garden is probably the most dangerous place in a domestic set up for any electrical equipment. Thanks.
