    2011 Amendment

    Hello straight to it, do I need to do another blinkin' exam now? I've got my 17th (when it came out, 2008). Will I have to show another certificate when my renewal with the robbers-I mean scheme providers comes up? Or will I just need to own a copy of the BGB and answer any questions...

    Hi all I have just been contacted by my training provider to ask if i want to sit a 1 day 2hr on line test which is the new regs no 2382.12 amendments .This course is to replace the 17th and 17th amendment course.I have all ready done the 17th amendment 2 years ago is there any point doing this...

    I might be wrong (please tell me if so!) but are they going to make the amendment freely available as a PDF here: IEE Wiring Regulations updates - IET Electrical Looks like they did for the last edition, or am I being optimistic?

    BS7671:2008 Amendment 1.

    Found out that this comes out in July this year, and takes effect from January 2012. New books will be Green. Thats another £65 plus OSG etc to spend. Why can't we just buy the amendment and change the relevant pages in the book. It will only be someone at the IEE who has now't better to do...
