Hello Everyone,

I've got a brand new, cellophane wrapped, version of BS7671:2008 (Red Book, not Green) available FREE OF CHARGE to anybody who can answer the following correctly - this should be a piece of cake for you. If not, I've heard a plumbers forum is crying out for members.......!!!!
List the Insulation Resistance Test Voltages For:

a) SELV circuit
b) Domestic Ring Circuit
c) 600V Industrial Conveyor system

PM me answers with a shipping address please guys. First correct answer receives the Big Red Book free of charge.

Good Luck!

Not a question you can answer correctly, but the prize is so good who would not try:freak:!

Re: BS7671:2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations Big RED Book - NOT AMENDMEN

It's been taken straight from a past 2391 test paper!!

But to be fair, from experience, some questions on these past papers are certianly up for debate. But I think this is fairly straightforward!

A prize which as much use as a chocolate fire guard now that it has been superceded.

Re: BS7671:2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations Big RED Book - NOT AMENDMEN

Answers were A) 250V DC, B) 500V DC, C) 1000V DC. Good job Adam! Whether you can make use of it (appreciate it's the first copy), or make some beer money on Ebay, then good on you.

Fair enough Ian - we're all aware that the book has been superceded!! We had one in stock that's not going to sell, so we thought we'd give someone a chance of obtaining it free of charge....

Have a good weekend guys!
