I actually had an enquiry! The roof's a little unusual though so i'm looking for a decent black framed mono 250W module that will allow mounting rails to be around 600mm apart without voiding warranty and with a good (5000Pa +) mechanical resistance.
To save me trawling through any more specs...
Anyone know where I can pick these up? I usually use the 245 Black with white backgrounds but need the black backgrounds because we've installed Bisol BoB in the same street so the REC will look slightly more obvious. not keen to go to Carbomat unless I have to.

Singel phase is just kw/watts but I know 3phase is defferent.
Cheers

while testing a DB in a primary school today, i found all the conductors within the DB coated in a black sticky, tar-like goo. see attached photos. im assuming its the conductors overheating and the insulation melting. can anyone confirm this. If that is the case, i can't understand it...
Morning all,
Although this is my first post I have been lurking round the forum for quite some time. Unfortunately due to a change of circumstances the electrical courses I was planning to do wont be happening. Due to this I am now selling my Megger 1502/2 MFT tester. The general condition of...

I was just wondering if anyone saw any good deals for panels on their travels at the event?
Cheapest we heard was from TD Solar. I couldn't get much info from him as there was a bit of a communication barrier (My Chinese is notoriously patchy) but his cheapest panels were down at 53p a watt...
I might have asked about cable stripping and preparing on earlier time - sorry if a repeat.
I need to save time in pulling off the outer sheath of plastic around cables. Does anyone know of some wonder tool that could do this in a jiffy? atm I'm scoring a line with Stanley and not always...
OK, so went to do a PIR on a pub today. Had a 3 phase supply head and board, but only 2 of the phases were used.
However, the yellow/black phase was used twice - i.e. there were two 25 mm cables in the yellow/phase of the supply head, and none in the blue/black
The subsequent boards were...
We have a customer who is very keen to have an installation completed by 1st April, however they have asked for a completely all black panel.
They have been looking at SunPower Signature all black panels on the web and are adamant that this is the panel they want.
I have provided datasheets...
Does anyone know the best solution on how to dim 4 x 7w dimmable downlights? Ive been looking at low load dimmers but they look pretty rubbish amongst the flat plate ive installed in the rest of the house. I'm hearing things about load resistors and would like some info on these if anyone has...

Hi,
I have to use metal conduit in a domestic installation (wearhouse appartment). Im obviously going to have to do some conduit bending etc and I was hoping someone could shed some light on which conduit to use. The heavy gauge galvanised steel conduit looks a bit too heavy duty and looks...
Sorry if this has been covered I but couldn't find anything.
Nor could I find information as to when white pvc t&e was first used in domestic installations.
When filling out test forms they ask the estimated age of installation, and if possible i'm after a timeline for the years that rubber...
