Hi all!
I am looking to sell some used electrical items (eBay), and am considering (unlike the vast majority of eBay business sellers) testing them for electrical safety prior to sale. The items will be a mix of class 1, 2 and 3. Having carried out some preliminary research, I have rapidly...
Hi,
I had been with Elecsa for years as a Part P installer/tester. Then they were taken over by the NICEIC.
I'm embarrassed to say that I hate them. Elecsa were great, they were great on the phone, the assessors were patient and polite and pleasant.
I do not find the NICEIC to be any of those...

Does anyone know which IEC standard has the original body graph that table 41.1 in BS7671 is based off of? When was the body graph last revised? Can anyone link or post the body graph here?
Also anyone know how the body graph was originally created?
Being currently young and with limited aches and pains I am naturally worried about what a life time as an electrician will do to my back and other joints. From my perspective practical fitness and strength is much better than generic 'gains' for aesthetics.
So my question is, what exercises do...

Westarted an electrical contracting company and the end of 2017 our test of the business. It went well and we used 2 electricians who are NAPIT approved.

Hi All,

I'm pretty sure I've checked this a while back with the NICEIC but I'd like to double check. I'm carrying out EICR work on a few properties , and am currently in a debate with a lady who says I should be registered with a governing body to carry out the testing. I said she's talking rubbish. As...
