Inspection camera recommendations wanted

Hi folks, Does anyone have anything (good or bad) to say about inspection cameras? I've got no specific use for one in mind, I just though they might have an occasional benefit when peering below a floor etc. Are they useful, do they work, are they worth the money, and which one to buy...

Just wondering if any body has a thermal image camera, need to locate a break in heat mat under tiled floor in bathroom. The job location is in Windermere. If so could we hire it or you to locate break pls.
