Hi All,

I am going to be putting a burglar alarm on a new external building.

Specifically, I am searching for a quality WIFI connected internal camera. This camera would have motion detection and would record It's data online (and maybe on a card but not essential). It would have good night vision and could set off an audible alarm.
When an alalrm goes off, the camera would contact me by phone and provide me with pictures of any activity. Absolutely no monthly fees. Data would be curtailed on a monthly basis ir within a gb size. The camera alarm could be turned off remotely,

The market is swamped. It's very difficult to know where, or even how, to start.

I would be very grateful for any suggestions

But forget the idea of a building been Burglar proof. All you will have is a video of the property been robbed

I'm also going with this. You will just see people in hoodies and a mask.... (most prob not a batman one....)

I fitted a ring spotlight camera last week. As required by the client >It does the job he wants as it gives him notifications and stores really good images .We both agreed to mount it low so that it gets much more "INFO" than just top of heads etc etc . Using the app .We set it up well and have had not one single false alert .Sure they could if they wanted smash it . But until they do , he will know about it and decide what to do . I have one thought on security. UNLESS the gang know you have something very valuable in the property and roughly where it is etc .Most thieves will be out in a few mins and take what they can.

So.....leave some "costume " jewellery , some cash (ÂŁ200) and a nice quality fake watch etc . let them be content with that and get out of the house `ASAP feeling they have had a result :)

Good advice that. Also a tip from me: if you're out and about in a city which is known for a bit of crime, keep an old phone in your pocket. If you get mugged they get that.

I have other tips as well which may or may not be useful.
