    hi got to connect a cooker to the cooker point and the installation manual states that you should use 6mm cable. do they do 6mm flex or shall i use 6mm twin and earth?

    Gardens lights wired in flex

    Im think of wiring some garden light which are high up on wooden panels.would you say it has to be in armoured or is it ok as it can be seen and no trees or bushes for it to get accidently chopped. All rcd of course. Any reg against it? Cheers

    what type of flex do you guys use for downlighter wiring, obviously just from the loop in, loop out JB, down to the fitting, now i know it will have to be high temperature/ heat resistant but what would the cable code be to look for in the catalogues, thanks

    hi all, had a bit of a discussion with a guy at work today, carrying out a periodic and there was a circuit wired in flex at the DB, i seem to think this is a code 2 but cannot find anything in the regs to back this up? is it ok for circuits to be wired in flex?

    Odd one here I bought some heated seats for my car and all i got was the loom plugs with around 4inch of cable on them Would i be ok using 2.5mm flex to extend/adapt the loom, ideally wanting to know if it would be ok used on DC 12v and what will it take Thanks in advance Dan
