Stupid question swa to flex via terminal block

Stupid question but can you connect swa to flex cable via a 15/5amp terminal block in a waterproof terminal box?

for example, use one these...

25mm 2 Way Galvanised Conduit Box | *************

with appropriate glands for the SWA & flex

&

assuming the cables are the same csa.

And use a ''cast lid'' with gasket, and brass screws, if being externally mounted, ....not the usual thin metal plate lid variety!!

Good advice! The lids they come with are crap.

Use crimps as well for the cable joints, maintenance free then.

And sling some Magic Gel in to make all connections waterproof but accessible if replacement of cables are required in the future where used outside.
