Has anybody thought of buying 18v cordless tools from the States? The charger would be 110v so ideal for site work. Although I'm not sure if it would work out much cheaper by the time you costed in transport and import duty.

Not sure if you would save that much given some of the deals on the Internet right now. As Amp David knows I just got an 18V Metabo combi drill on offer that has 51% off ( Toolstop.co.uk ) plus as Amp david says any warranty issues may be deemed null and void.

Cheers,
Lofty
