hello there. hope someone can help ! is it ok to fit 100a terminal blocks to the meter tails and feed 2 seperate consumer unit's .the existing consumer unit and a new smaller consumer unit with 100a main sw & rcd which would be supplying a new build extension. wanting to use job for part p inspection an wonered if there might be issue with the tails . ?

Cant see why not, as long as you use a double pole Henley block , or Ashley block or whatever they are called round your way.

However............................... I am not domestic installer registered, and have never had such an inspection, but as a method I would say it was ok.

Others might know better.

I agree with above ,but im not an domestic installer either ,but ,how else can you do the job?
or am i missing something?

Only thing to think about before you do that is having a single point of isolation for the property. Usual thing to do is to install a D.P. isolator before your henly blocks.
