hi all has anybody recevied their 2391 results yet from june 10 i feel like i am climbing the walls this is taking forever or does anybody have an exact date when results are due thanks..

Been climbing the walls myself, think i got 80%ish so should be okay.

Hi lads, how was the 2391 exam? Im thinking of doing it in a couple of month. Worked for a company last year for about 4/5 months just testing rewires and part rewires and the od pir. Prob done about 150 plus tests but was laid off xmas eve. Not done many since then. Do you think I would have a chance of passing? Sorry if this thread has deviated from the original one.

Written exam is bloody hard, basically, you have to know the BRB and GN3 of pat (excuse the pun).

Practical is easy if you are methodical, but you must have a decent amount of 3 phase exp.... 4 hours is a real drag though.

Well I have my 2330 lvl 3 and my 2382 17th edition so should be ok. We also started using the GN3 in the last year I was at college so pretty good knowledge of that but wont hurt to give it another few reads. Cheers

Thanks. Definitely worthwhile if you are interested in it. I'm glad that I did it although I still have to tidy up my project but this has given me the incentive to pull out all the stops now!

I finished my 2391-10 on june 10. Should get the results any day now. I just love to learn so 2391-20 is the only way to go now.

Just cant find anywhere that is running the course locally.

Indeed. It's not a course that appears to be run in too many places. In fact I did quite a bit of travelling to do it! Perhaps City & Guilds can tell you whereabouts does it near(ish)-hand to you.

Good luck to everyone who is waiting for their exam result. I passed mine in Feb on the third attempt! if i had failed that one i would have done it again, so if you fail just do it again. When i came out of my first exam, one of the other sparks was on his fourth attempt. I later found out he had passed it. If you crack it first time, Well Done!

on my first exam, i thought i had passed!
on my second exam, i thought i had definitely passed!
on my third exam, i wasn't sure!

Results are out what is the process do they go back to the college first and are then posted out. May give college a phone tomorrow.

You can call the college where you did the exam, then they will tell you that your result is/isn't in. Then go around in person with ID (in case) for them to give you a printout of your result.

Got mine today and I've passed well worth all those hrs of swotting,well chuffed coz needed it for my 2nd Napit assessment.

got my cert through saturday ... it just says pass for practical , pass for the theory . does it say if its a credit or whatever ?

yep pass or fail you will never know what you got right or wrong or what percentage pass but you passed HAPPY DAYS so it was good enough

I'm still waiting!!! A mate took the exam at a different centre to me and got his results on the 10th August. I keep phoning the college but they are no help-hopefully any day now!!
