24v led strip light

Hi i have a home bar set up there is a 24v AC transformer powering the led in the beer tap font it has unused outputs, im wondering could i use this for a led strip light for handyness?
I cant find any AC led strips lights, would i be better off just get 12v ones and plug into a socket?
