Hello, I’m going to be installing a wall charger soon in my garage that requires a 60amp breaker. I’m wondering if it is ok to add it to the garage sub panel (there are open spaces) or if I need to add it to the main panel. DIYer here.

The plan is to run the breaker to a disconnect switch, then onto the charger.
