Adding a meter

Bit of advice please. I've been asked to quote to add a meter to a 12 way board in a warehouse. The job is pretty strait forward but am i right in saying, by doing this i will need to test the 12 way board after

What sort of meter? Presumably it'll be connected via CT's? If so then use split CT's you can retrofit and the only connections you make will be for the voltage connection so very little to test.

IT will be metering office space on the second floor. 63a supply

So your not adding metering to the whole DB, just one of the outgoing ways?
What type of metering? My earlier reply assumed it was metering for V, I, kW, kVA etc etc, or are you metering for kWh only?

How are you going to do that then?

Gland Swa into a joint box, take supply from MCB into Meter, from the meter to the joint box.
