good morning,

wondered if i could pick the forums brains. i was apprentice

electrician 30 old years ago but only done one year.is it

possible for me to enter the trade as this stage in life. i believe

i can do college work but would i be able to find work .

thank you

get work as a mate through agency/s . then see about obtaining 2365 level 3.after that it's nvq3 and am2.to get jib card. meanwhile get a cscs card to get past the site gestapo.

You'd be able to get work if you offer a high standard, are friendly and professional and work out the best way to market yourself in the initial first few years. Be prepared for the the business to grow slowly over the first 1-3 years.

As above

Gets a job as a sparks mate thrashing in cable and bashing in boxes etc

See if you still have the appetite for the trade

I have dipped in and out the trade since the 1990s and physically it’s getting a bit of a struggle now
