Hi

We had the light (photo attached) installed a couple of years ago - it still works but the bulb is faded but needs replacing.

Is it quite easy to replace myself (someone with no experience)? Or do I need to get someone in to do it?

Thank you!

James

It looks like an all in one LED fitting, the lamps are not changeable.
new light fitting is required.

It looks like water has got inside the glass but its not definitive from the photo.

Thanks James. Can I replace the whole thing myself or would you recommend getting someone to do it?

Can that light be overridden by a separate switch as it looks like a four core cable going to it?

It's controlled by an interior switch just inside the door

And this overrides the sensor so it can be left on?

I don't know what that means sorry. I'm just wondering if I can buy a replacement one (although I've read they're prone to getting water in which I think this one has) and then put it in myself instead of hiring a sparky to do it.

Respectfully, I would say that you should get someone to do it based on this thread.
