As the title suggests, I have passed my AM2 assessment on the first time trying. I’m really chuffed, although I did put a lot of time and effort in preparing for the assessment!

This means I have now completed my Level 3 NVQ, also my 18th Edition BS7671, I’ve already got my Level 2 & 3 C&G 2330 and C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing. I’m hoping my Gold Card will arrive soon and offer me new opportunities !! (I’ve got a few years Site experience under my belt!).

If anyone would like any help or advice on the AM2 assessment, I’ll try my best to answer any questions.

?

Well done JummyD, not an easy thing to pass. Its a classic example of someone who's gone through the process, worked hard and come out the other side with good qualifications. Good stuff sir. ?

Congratulations :)

A brief write up might help people too afraid to ask questions... any sticking points you had and tips to overcome them, any little tricky issues, general advice.

Thanks for the replies!! I will try to write an account of my experience & post it later, hopefully I can give a few tips/pointers to anyone awaiting the AM2 assessment.

Well done pal, if you manage to get round to doing a write up, could you include as much fault finding information as possible plz, would be much appreciated as I have mine coming up this year.
