Can you fit a dual rcd board as a consumer unit with the socket circuits being split to half of the house up and down twice ( ie supplying the kitchen and room above it on 1 rcd and lounge and room above on another rcd) and obviously the up and down lighting individually on each of the rcd's?
sorry if this has come up before, any help much appreciated

Agree with above really.

Just as long as the whole house isnt plunged into darkness when the RCD trips anything is fine!
