Guys,

can you answer these questions asap

have a bs 3036 fuse how do i find out the fuse type for the domestic installaion certificate, have found device designation in osg and rated short circuit capacity (ka) but sure what to put down.

also can you remind me got pfc of 783a am i right i need to divide this by 1000 to get reading in

The type of a bs 3036 is semi enclosed (se)

Yes divide by 1000 to change to kA for cert.
 
The type numbers are S1A which is 1 KA short circuit capacity
and S2A 2 KA
and S3A 4 KA
S4A is for large fuse ratings


S2A is the usual category for domestic boards
